Message from Our Executive Director

Our commitment to enriching the education of San Rafael students continues to grow, thanks to your incredible support. This month has been filled with exciting events, community engagement, and new opportunities to make a difference for our schools.

Recently, our community came together for an energizing F45 workout fundraiser, breaking a sweat while raising vital funds for our schools. We also had the pleasure of co-hosting an open house at Youth in Arts, showcasing the incredible arts programming that inspires creativity in our students every day.

We’re also thrilled to introduce a new way to support HeadsUp—a fundraiser with the SF Giants! Purchase discounted tickets and enjoy a day at the ballpark while giving back to our schools.

And of course, the countdown is on for our biggest event of the year—the HeadsUp Carnival on Saturday, April 26, at San Rafael High School! Mark your calendars for a day of fun, food, and community celebration, all in support of our students.

Thank You To F45 San Rafael and Our Community for a FUNdraiser!

On March 1st, We had a fantastic time with members of our San Rafael School Community - raising heart rates and funds for HeadsUp!! It was a wonderful opportunity to come together with representation from several schools in our District and discuss how important it is to support public schools, public education and your public school foundation! A huge thank you to everyone who donated, with your generous and giving spirit, we were able to raise $2500!

Youth In Arts and HeadsUp Creative Community Forum

We had the pleasure of attending last week's YIA Open House and had the opportunity to experience firsthand the creativity, joy and learning that our students experience at their schools because of this collaborative partnership and community building model. Thank you to Youth In Arts (YIA) for being a partner with us in making sure we're able to provide Arts enrichment at ALL of our schools!!

San Francisco Giants Partnership with HeadsUp!

Who is ready for Baseball Season?!?! We are thrilled to be partnering with the San Francisco Giants for an exciting fundraising opportunity District and Community wide! The Giants are offering $15 tickets to a variety of games throughout the season and for every ticket sold, $5 will be donated back to HeadsUp! Purchase as many tickets as you like and share widely with your friends, family and colleagues. HeadsUp Carnival is NEXT Month!

We are getting closer to Carnival time!! This year, Carnival will be taking place at San Rafael High School! We are looking for volunteers to take on larger roles, if you are interested in finding out how you can help make this year's Carnival our best yet, email us at info@headsupsr.org to find out more!! General volunteer signups will be coming out at the beginning of April.
