KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION PACKETS FOR THE 2008- 09 SCHOOL YEAR ARE NOW AVAILABLE IN THE SCHOOL OFFICE:  | Parents of children who will start kindergarten at the beginning of the next school year are invited to obtain a kindergarten registration packet in the Laurel Dell School office. Please call 485-2317 if you have questions about kindergarten registration or if you would like to be included on the Laurel Dell mailing list. You may also call the District Office at 485-3236 for more information about registering your child for the 2008/2009. |  
 SCHOOL TOUR ON FRIDAY, MAY 16TH: Principal Bob Marcucci will conduct a school tour for families of students entering kindergarten in 2008-2009 as well as other interested parents. Tours start at 8:30 a.m.
School Tour Schedule . LAUREL DELL OPEN HOUSE & POTLUCK : Thursday, May 15th cook up your favorite recipe from your family's cultural heritage and share in our community feast! Visit your child's classroom and see what they have done all year! Share in some very good food and fun with other families of Laurel Dell School. Potluck from 6:30p.m. to 7:15p.m., 7:15p.m. principal presentation, classroom visits from 7:30 - 8:00p.m. PTA Meeting & parent language exchange, Thursday, May 22nd starting at 5:00p.m. with the parent language exchange. Parents come together to learn each others language with the help of a teacher from Global Language Exchange, PTA meeting follows. Award Assembly, Friday, May 30th at 8:45a.m. .COFFEE CHAT WITH PRINCIPAL BOB MARCUCCI AND SARAH GAIDANO ON FRIDAY, May 16th, Speaker will be Hugo Morel from Parent Services Project, to talk about parent leadership and engagement. This is a fundraiser for the San Rafael Public Education Foundation. FIESTA DEL SOL! Saturday, May 31st 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. come and join us for fun and games, lots of homemade food with a wonderful raffle with lots of good stuff to win! There will also be a Mercado/Garage Sale, this will all benefit the PTA, which goes toward YMCA PE and Youth in Arts for the year. So please join us for the FIESTA DEL SOL! June 11th "Field Day" from 10:30a.m. to 12:00p.m., water games, relay races and lots more fun for the students at Laurel Dell School. June 12th, Thursday will be 5th grade promotion and picnic!
